About Us
Fresh Food Corner is an institution in Balaclava. The store was established over 20 years ago and in 2019 was purchased by Mark and Amie, the current owners. It is a family owned and run business.
Mark is a butcher and smallgoods maker with over 35 years of experience. He began learning as a teenager and was trained by German and Swiss masters right here in Melbourne. He is extremely passionate about his craft and takes the utmost pride in supplying his customers with the highest quality produce. All our smoking and manufacturing is done on site and almost everything you see in our meat cabinets is produced by Mark.
Mark has won many awards for his fresh sausages, burgers, smoked sausages, and sliced meats but his greatest joy comes from hearing how happy his customers are with their purchases.
